Fake It to Make It

Fake nails, fake hair color, fake smile, fake face. Today everything is pushed to it’s  limits. The standards of Beauty are constantly being challenged with new technologies and new enhancement methods. Everything can be altered if mother nature’s work dosn’t satisfy. 
I find it amusing how we humans, mostly women, are so diverse yet we all have similar visions of perfection, changing with the times. We do our make up and hair in a similar way, we follow similar trends, we are more similar than different. Which brings me to my next point; Is beauty and what we consider beautiful a cultural thing dependant on whatever trend is upon us and does timeless beauty exist? Beauty is something I admire, but also fear. I can’t really define what I consider to be beautiful, it is ever changing, and that scares me...

  23. I believe in timeless beauty Milna. Certainly we can change our looks and style depending on trends, but true beauty is ever-lasting and much deeper than that (in my opinion anyway!) Great post.

  67. Love the colors and the writing part. I agree that people try to pull you into looking like what they think is the IT thing and you are made to feel left out if you are even a bit different. Sad but that's the new way. I love trends but I believe in adding loads of personal touches that are unique.
