My Crazy Beautiful Life

For a long time, while growing up, I wished that I was someone else. Everyone seemed to have it better than me. I was idolizing the people I saw on TV, you know those perfect girls with model bodies. Of course I was never satisfied with what I had or owned. The only things I saw was the Glitz and Glamour, and not the reality behind the scenes. And to see that being a insecure teenage girl was self esteem suicide. And with my mind working against me, I had no chance of building a healthy self image. And I blame it on media. We are bombarded with perfect, alien-like, supermodels and actresses that look nothing like ordinary people.

Somehow I grew up, and specific life events turned it around for me. I have my husband to thank for my self confidence. I grew from a caterpillar to a butterfly in a couple of years under the shelter of love and support from him. I had some major breakthroughs and accomplishments that I’m immensely proud of. Of course there was failure and downfalls, but the point is when you start believing in yourself those are easy to handle.

Now I take the lead in my life – in my crazy, beautiful Life.
